This document introduces two approaches to using the mind: focusing on points of view or sustaining awareness. It argues that sustaining awareness for brief moments, repeated many times, allows one to discover an innate quality of wisdom, ease, and compassion. Over time, with practice of sustaining short moments of awareness, one can develop confidence in awareness as a stable state, even amid points of view that arise and pass away like clouds in the sky. The key choice presented is whether to rest in awareness or be caught up in points of views.
